12 March 2025

Grupo ASISA has launched a strategic plan to grow and diversify its main areas of activity in 2024. As a result, it has increased its premium volume and reached a new revenue record in the insurance sector.

“More and more people are taking out insurance with our company, visiting our hospitals and medical centers, or seeking care at our network of specialized clinics,” highlighted Francisco Ivorra, president of Grupo ASISA.

The doctor added: “We will continue driving the transformation of our model, diversifying our activity to expand our offerings and investing in the modernization of our own healthcare network.”
In line with its objectives, Grupo ASISA has developed a strategic model based on the key pillars of growth, profitability, internationalization, innovation, and sustainability.

Growth and profitability

The company’s healthcare network continued to expand in 2024, incorporating new centers and developing a high-quality healthcare service offering. In total, Grupo ASISA’s healthcare companies increased their revenue by 10.4% compared to 2023. The network is led by the reference hospital group HLA, which attended more than 3.2 million consultations in 2024.

Modernization and new HLA medical centers

Grupo HLA has reinforced its commitment to modernizing its centers with the expansion of the HLA Universitario Moncloa hospital in Madrid, aiming to multiply the hospital’s healthcare capacity and develop its services.

In 2024, Grupo HLA also inaugurated new medical centers in the cities of Alicante, Elche, and Cáceres, adding to the openings made in 2023 in Catalonia and Andalusia. Alongside the opening of these new facilities, the medical group carried out renovations in its clinics to introduce new units and state-of-the-art technology.

In this regard, the HLA Perpetuo Socorro clinic in Lleida continued its remodeling, while HLA Dr. Sanz Vázquez in Guadalajara and HLA Los Naranjos in Huelva also continued their renovations to expand their healthcare capacity.

Commitment to professional training

The hospital group has advanced in its commitment to training healthcare professionals, with three of its centers accredited as university hospitals: HLA Universitario Moncloa in Madrid, HLA Universitario Inmaculada in Granada, and HLA Universitario El Ángel in Málaga.

In 2024, Grupo HLA’s hospitals were certified for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and the development of high-quality medicine.

Internationalization

In its international operations, Grupo ASISA has continued strengthening its presence in Portugal, where it has launched two dental clinics in Lisbon and Porto, both at the forefront of medical-dental care.

In 2024, it also continued expanding its presence in Italy, where it operates a dental clinic in Milan and has started offering dental insurance.

Grupo ASISA also maintains operations in Switzerland, Latin America (Mexico and Nicaragua), and the Middle East.

Digital transformation

One of Grupo ASISA’s strategic pillars is digital transformation and the modernization of its management model. Among the projects launched in 2024, the company has deployed a new CRM, developed a new policy management system, and incorporated artificial intelligence (AI) to improve customer service.

Environmental commitment

From an environmental perspective, Grupo ASISA has made a significant investment to achieve its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2025. In this way, the company strengthens its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) commitment, with the mission of multiplying the positive impact the Group generates on society and enhancing its well-being.
