ASISA Group and European University promote training in health sciences
The ASISA Group and the European University have renewed their framework agreement, strengthening their partnership to enhance training in health sciences and advance collaborative research projects.
The ASISA Group and the European University have furthered their commitment to training in health sciences by signing a new framework agreement that reinforces their collaboration since 2006. The agreement was signed by the President of the ASISA Group, Dr Francisco Ivorra, and the CEO of Europa Education, Otilia de la Fuente, during an event held at ASISA’s headquarters.
This renewed agreement ensures that medical and nursing students can continue their clinical training at HLA Group hospitals, such as the HLA Moncloa University Hospital. To date, nine cohorts of students have graduated after receiving both theoretical and practical instruction from the institution’s professionals.
Moreover, the agreement paves the way for the creation of joint research teams between the two organisations. Professionals from the HLA Group will participate in projects led by the European University, fostering knowledge exchange and innovation in the healthcare sector. This collaboration aims to advance key research areas and open new opportunities for scientific progress.
Training in health sciences: a joint commitment by ASISA and the European University
A cornerstone of this partnership is the ASISA Chair in Health Sciences, established in 2006, which promotes academic excellence and research. The chair awards prizes and grants to both seasoned researchers and emerging talents, supporting professional growth within the healthcare field.
During the signing ceremony, Dr Francisco Ivorra emphasised that “the university is a key institution for training, research, and innovation—three essential elements for the development of any society. The partnership between the ASISA Group and the European University strengthens our commitment to excellence and a model of medicine centred on the direct relationship between doctors and patients.”
Otilia de la Fuente, CEO of Europa Education, added: “This agreement builds upon a successful relationship and opens up new opportunities to advance training in health sciences. The trust placed in the HLA Moncloa University Hospital as a centre for clinical training is a testament to the quality and professionalism of its staff.”
