Assistència Sanitària strengthens its resilience and sustainability with a new tool

Assistència Sanitària is adding new tools to reinforce its resilience and sustainability. Operational resilience and sustainability initiatives are part of Assistència Sanitària's global project, which aims to ensure a safer, more stable, and responsible future.

To secure its operations, the organization has adopted new instruments and capabilities. In effect since January 17, the new Digital Operational Resilience Regulation (DORA) aims to guarantee the security and continuity of financial entities' services to address potential threats.

In 2024, Assistència Sanitària implemented a robust technological risk management framework, including new audits and regular testing, as well as rapid response mechanisms for incidents.

Communication protocols with relevant authorities have also been strengthened to ensure an efficient response in case of contingencies. In addition to strengthening its information systems, Assistència Sanitària has taken an active role in promoting a sustainable business model.

Over the past year, the organization has focused on how to invest its resources, prioritizing social criteria aligned with its purpose over purely profitability-driven principles.

During 2023 and 2024, the organization committed to a responsible investment policy, avoiding controversial sectors (such as armaments) and prioritizing initiatives that generate a positive impact (such as research), principles reflected in donations to various foundations and non-profit organizations.
