ASISA renews its participation in the agreement with Muface

ASISA has renewed its participation in the agreement with Muface to continue providing healthcare to its members for the years 2025, 2026 and 2027. 

ASISA has taken this decision after having analysed in detail the initial specifications and the latest modification to the conditions presented by the mutual insurance company, and has assessed all the factors which, in the insurer's opinion, are decisive for maintaining the quality of care (financing, demographics, cover, range of sevices, etc.). 

ASISA and the Administration have held talks until they have managed to find a formula which guarantees the quality of care and the sustainability of the model. ASISA states that ‘we are convinced that it is a well-configured model from a legal point of view, which fits in with our health system, because it adds elements of strategic interest for its future development’.  

In addition, this model guarantees freedom of choice (of company, doctor or centre) and ensures access to services without delay to a high quality care network. ASISA has stressed that the pact makes a decisive contribution to sustaining the private healthcare infrastructure throughout the country and generates a relevant employment pool for the healthcare professions as a whole.

ASISA sees the renewal of this agreement, together with the previous agreements with Isfas and Mugeju, as an opportunity to continue working with the Administration on an ambitious plan to tackle the economic imbalances of the administrative mutual insurance system with determination and to guarantee its survival, which is necessary for thousands of health professionals.
