Hospital de Barcelona hosts training sessions on maternal health and oncology

The Hospital de Barcelona extends its commitment to continuous training. The healthcare center, which serves Assistència Sanitària policyholders, hosted two important scientific events in November, emphasizing its dedication to continuous training and innovation in the healthcare sector.

The center, located at 660 Diagonal Avenue in the Catalan capital, held the 12th Pregnancy Health Day on November 15. This edition focused on two major obstetric topics: preeclampsia and postpartum hemorrhage.

A few days later, on November 22, the Hospital de Barcelona hosted an event on oncological surgery. Specifically, it featured the presentation of Carcinopoedia.org, a pioneering multimedia educational platform dedicated to peritoneal carcinomatosis.

The Hospital de Barcelona welcomed its first patient on June 12, 1989. It is a leading private healthcare hospital created by the initiative of a user cooperative, its owner, which comprises Assistència Sanitària policyholders.
