New hospital in Elche and Crevillente
On January 8 of this year, the President of the Regional Government of Valencia, Mr. Francisco Camps, accompanied by a group of ASISA representatives and managers, presided of the laying of the cornerstone for the new hospital in Elche and Crevillente which the regional government awarded to the corporation Elche-Crevillente Salud SA, integrated by Ribera Salud SA (Bancaja and CAM) and ASISA.
The construction and furnishing of the hospital translates into a 146 million euros investment and the project will be completes within 22 months, with which the new health care centre will be operating in the last quarter of 2009. The unique construction will be 44,000 square meter building, with all the necessary facilities and equipment to provide quality health care services to the 140,000 inhabitants of Elche, Crevillente, Aspe, Hondón de Las Nieves and Hondón de Los Frailes.
