Moncloa Hospital, best healthcare initiative at the Madrid awards

The Moncloa Hospital, formerly known as Clínica Moncloa, was awarded the “Healthcare Initiative” prize at the 7th Madrid Awards, organized by madridiario.es and held on 25 May. This prize recognizes its long-standing focus on quality care and on excellence in healthcare management, as well as its innovative spirit and dedication to improvement and modernization.

Juan José Fernández Ramos, Managing Director of Moncloa Hospital, collected the prize and stated that “this award is a boost to seeking excellent care and motivation for our primary objective which is improving the health of our society”.

Those present at the awards ceremony included Enrique de Porres, CEO of ASISA; Manuel Soria, Medical Director of ASISA; Tomás Díez Paso, General Sub-Director of ASISA and Benito García-Legaz, General Sub-Director of ASISA Clinics as well as many other representatives of Moncloa Hospital.

Representatives from politics, the press, the economy and culture attended this event as well which also celebrated the tenth anniversary of madridiario.es.

The jury, made up of press, radio, TV and Internet journalists, granted prizes in various categories including “Lifetime Achievement” which went to the actor Manuel Alexandre; “Woman of the Year” to the actress Blanca Portillo and “Man of the Year” to Professor Jesús Neira.
