“At the Espriu Foundation, we offer our support and undertake to fulfil the commitments included in the declaration, since they are fully aligned with the values of cooperativism: self-help, personal responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity”, affirms Carlos Zarco, Managing Director of the Espriu Foundation.

Likewise, the manifesto declares zero tolerance towards any type of sexual or moral harassment and violence or any other type of inappropriate behaviour in the workplace, such as intimidation, oppression and discrimination or abuse of power.

The document stresses that the international co-operative movement supports the Recommendation of the Promotion of Cooperatives of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) (2001) and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (2015) of the United Nations (UN).
